How do I find out if Express Towing towed my car?
If you are the current registered owner and have your License Plate number or the vehicle identification number available you can call us at (612) 481-1680 and a representative will be happy to assist you.
How do I get my car back?
If you vehicle was towed by a Law Enforcement Agency, you may need to fill out a vehicle release form from the Law Enforcement Agency that had your vehicle towed. You would also need to contact the Law Enforcement Office and find out if they require anything before issuing a release.
A release is most likely not required if your vehicle was towed due to an accident you were involved in. If you are the current registered owner, you would need to contact us to have your vehicle released. You can also have your vehicle released to your insurance company as long as no Law Enforcement hold exists.
Does my car have to stay at Express Towing for 30 days?
There are several violations which would allow the Law Enforcement Agency to hold your vehicle for 30 days. For more information on when you can retrieve your vehicle, please contact the Law Enforcement Agency that cited the violation.
What happens if I do not retrieve my vehicle?
A Lien Sale is conducted on all vehicles stored at Express Towing over 72 hours. If vehicles are not recovered by the sale date Express Towing will sell the vehicle at public auction and the last responsible party will be sent to collections on any amount of the tow and storage bill not covered by the sale.
What types of vehicles can be towed by Express Towing?
All regular passenger vehicles (cars, vans, SUV’s, pickup trucks), buses, limos, medium and heavy duty trucks, tractors, trailers, motor homes, 5th wheels, boats, forklifts, and misc. equipment.
Does Express Towing offer services other than towing?
Yes, we offer jump starts, lock outs, recovery, and tire changes.
